Dania is back for her 2nd season at Summer Trails.  Between summers Dania is a substitute teacher and has recently achieved a Masters in Special Education from Manhattanville College and received her New York State Teaching Certification. In her free time, Dania collects Wizard of Oz paraphernalia.

Michelle has been at camp for 13 years as a camper and counselor.  She is currently a student at Manhattanville college and has recently earned her Girl Scout Gold Award.

Victoria L

Nursery

Victoria has been at camp for 10 years as a camper, then LIT and counselor.  She currently attends UMass Amherst where she is a Resident Assistant and in the Ski and Snowboard Club and plays Intramural Field Hockey and Volleyball.

Samantha J

Samantha joins us as a first year counselor in the Little Grove.  When not at camp Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, is an active member of the PTA and is the Junior League Fundraising Chair.

Jessica is entering her 11th season at Summer Trails (9 as a camper).  Jessica has recently made the Principal’s List in school and is taking Horseback Riding Lessons.

Julie is back for her 2nd year at Summer Trails.  During the winter months, Julie is a stay at home mom to twin campers.  Her current activities include Zumba and Scrabble.

Cathleen R

Cathleen has been at Summer Trails for 11 years (9 as a camper).  She is currently involved in a variety of clubs at school and enjoys dancing.

This is Nicole's 3rd summer with Summer Trails! After the camp season She will return to Plattsburg for her senior year where she'll earn her degree Education. She loves the beach, soccer and field hockey.

Michelle has been at Summer Trails for 9 years (7 as a camper).  Michelle recently made honor roll and is involved in many activities including Nova Jazz II, Leos Club and Student Council.

Patty is back for her 2nd season at Summer Trails.  Between summers, Patty is a Montessori School Teacher and is currently writing a short play for her students.

Sarah has been at Summer Trails for 16 years.  She currently attends SUNY Oneonta and is working towards a degree in Education.  Sarah has been on honor role and involved with the Robbie Page Memorial which raises money for play therapy equipment for terminally ill children.

Marcie K

Marcie is back for her 14th summer as a lower grove counselor.  Marcie will be working as a 7th grade teacher at St. Padre Pio School where she has been developing the curriculum this spring.  When not at school or camp, Marcie loves to spend time with her dog doing obedience and agility training.

Kate M

Kate has been at Summer Trails for 11 years as a camper, LIT, A+C assistant/specialist and now a counselor and lifeguard.  She has recently become a volunteer member of the Somers Fire Department and is involved with many activities at school including Dance, Marching Band, National Honor Society, Midnight Runs and a variety of clubs (Model UN, Spanish, and Habitat for Humanity).

Melissa has been at camp for 12 years as a camper, LIT and counselor.  She is currently involved in teaching dance and has recently made High Honor Roll. For Melissa camp is a family affair, her mom Nancy and sister Lindsay work at Summer Trails as well.

Victoria has been Summer Trails for 14 summers, 5 as a staff member.  She currently attends SUNY Geneseo and is part of the Ski and Snowboard Club.

Peter is back for his 10th summer at camp.  During the school year, Peter is the Panas Players Co-Vice President, runs winter and spring track and the Captain of the Boys Soccer Team.

Claire has been with Summer Trails for the past 3 summers as a counselor and extended day lifeguard.  She is currently at St. Bonaventure College.

Elliot is back for his 10th year at Summer Trails (8 as a camper).  He enjoys playing, performing and writing music and is currently part of a band. This past winter, Elliot travelled to Nicaragua to build homes in a poverty stricken village.

Deidra F

Deidra is returning to Summer Trails as a staff members after spending many years as a camper.  She is currently pursuing a PsyD at LaSalle University and has worked with students with ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome and Emotional Disabilities.

Lisa’s kids have had such a good time at camp, she has decided to join them as a Lower Grove counselor.  During the off season, Lisa works at C.E.T. Elementary enjoys attending Book Club and is a Travel Baseball and Travel Soccer mom.

Kasey is returning camp for her 5th season.  Kasey is currently  at SUNY Cortland where she is studying Mathematics and plays Field Hockey.

Kristen is back for her 3rd year at camp.  During  the off-season, Kristen attends the University of Delaware where she studying Accounting and Management Information Systems. In her free time, Kristen enjoys playing softball and watching the Yankees.

Kate has spent 2 seasons at Summer Trails as a Little Grove Counselor.  During the off season, Kate attends Quinnipiac University where she is on the Dance Team.

Nicole is joining us for her 2nd year at camp.  She is involved in many activities including Girl Scouts, Dance (ballet, pointe and jazz), Field Hockey, Drama Club and Student Government.  She also teaches lessons part time at a preschool.

Kelly is back for her 11th year at Summer Trails as a Lower Grove Counselor.  She is currently a member of her schools Tennis Team, the Multicultural Club and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.

Kaitlyn is joining us for her first season at Summer Trails.  Kaitlyn is currently attending The College of Saint Rose where she is majoring in Childhood and Special Education and works with autistic students.  She is currently a member of her schools winter and spring track teams and has been an assistant track coach for the Taconic Road Runners Youth Team.

A first time counselor, Gina is joining sister Dania at Summer Trails this summer.  Gina currently lives in Mahopac and enjoys watching Law and Order and listening to Blink 182.

Morgan is returning for her 2nd year at Summer Trails as a Lower Grove Counselor.  While at school, Morgan is involved with drama, is in the ski and community service club and works part time at a preschool.

Krysten is joining us for her first season at Summer Trails as a Lower Grove counselor. While attending Ashford University, Krysten has maintained at 3.8 GPA.  During the school year, Krysten volunteers at PQ Elementary School.

Brian is joining us for the first time this year. He currently attends the University of Delaware where he is studying engineering. Brian has recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout.

Dan is back for his 3rd year as a staff member.  He has recently made High Honor Roll at school and is a member of the STAT Club, an organization that works to improve the lives of those less fortunate.

Jeremy has been coming to camp for 13 summers.  During the school year he is involved with his schools play, guitar ensemble, jazz and symphonic bands and is an assistant guitar teacher and private guitar instructor.

Steven Cook is a first year counselor but spent many years at Summer Trails as a camper. Stephen has a Masters in Childhood Education from Fordham University and is currently working in the Bedford School District and is a YAC basketball coach.

Nick is back for his second season at Summer Trails.  He is currently attending Lynn University.

Ryan is a second year Upper Grove counselor.  He is attending Herkimer Community College. He enjoys playing guitar and loves all things music.

Steve is a first year upper grove counselor. Outside of camp Steve enjoys playing baseball and is a member of the Edmund Rice Society.

Brian is back for his second summer in the Upper Grove.  He is currently a Graduate Student at Purchase where he is pursing the field of journalism. During his free time, Brian enjoys watching The Office and riding his bike on the bike path.

Travis joins us for his first year as a Summer Trails Counselor! When he is not studying science at Albany he can be found hiking up Turkey Mountain or at a great concert.

Samantha is joining Summer Trails as a first year counselor but spent many years here as a camper.  She is currently at the University of Deleware where she is currently the Public Relations representative for her dorm, plays intramural soccer and plans to study abroad in the future.

Samara, aka Sammy, is returning for her 2nd year at Summer Trails.  She is currently a member of her school varsity softball team.  In her free time, she enjoys doing circus training and performances.

Caitlin joins us as a counselor for the third summer in a row! She begins her senior year at Plattsburg this year where she'll earn her degree in Art and Design. During he free time, Caitlin can be found at the beach!

A first time counselor, Mary rose joins mom Patty and brother Kevin at Summer Trails this summer. During the year, Maryrose is on her school Track and Field Team, Volunteers at a hospital and is a volunteer teaching assistant.

Jen, nicknamed Jenny Giggles, is back for year 4 as an Upper Grove Counselor.  During the off season, Jen teaches preschool at Creative Kids.

Amanda M

Amanda is a first year Upper Grove counselor. She currently attends Boston University where she is double majoring in Communications and Psychology.  She has worked with elementary and middle school students coaching softball and baseball.

Sarah M

Sarah has been at Summer Trails since 1994 and has been a camper, LIT, assistant counselor and Upper Grove counselor.  She is currently a Graduate Student of Education at Pace University and has recently lost over 200 pounds!

Ariana F

Arianna is joining us for her first season at Summer Trails.  At school she is a Resident Assistant, Orienation Leader and has been nominated for the National Residence Hall Honorary.

Ariel is a 6th year counselor.  She is currently attending SUNY Cortland where she works as a tutor, has made the Dean’s list and plays on the Varsity Tennis Team. She is planning on a Habitat for Humanity trip in the future.

Caitlin joins us for the first time as Summer Trails staff! She has several years as an experienced counselor and joins us to share all of her camp spirit! When she is not working on her Masters Degree in Communications/Public Relations she can be found playing hockey, hanging out with friends or singing!

Peter is returning for his 3rd summer at camp making a switch from Baseball Camp to Traditional Camp.  Peter is currently working at a Pizzeria. in his free time.

Vince returns to us for his 4th summer here at camp. He is a Special Education teacher after the camp season ends. Vince enjoys being outdoors where he can be found hiking and fishing.

Kelly is back with us for her 6th year at Summer Trails! If she's not working on her degree at Mercy College she can be found coaching, reading or watching a really great movie!

Krissy is back for her 3rd year as an Upper Grove counselor. Between camp seasons, Krissy attends Hofstra University where she is studying Psychology and sings in the Female A'cappella group, Makin' Treble.

Adam M

Adam is returning for his 4th summer as a Baseball Coach. He currently teaches and coaches during the school year.

Bill is joining us for his first year at Summer Trails.  During the school year bill teaches 5th grade and coaches the Varsity Baseball Team in Ossining. In his spare time Bill enjoys playing golf and fixing up his newly purchased house.  Before teaching 5th grade in Ossining, Bill was a sports reporter and has held both the World Series and Stanley Cup Trophies.

Jared has been at Summer Trails for 14 years as a camper and staff member.  He has recently made high honor roll and is involved in Baseball and Track at School.

Jim has been at camp for more than 20 years!  During the off season he is the Assistant Principal at Monsignor McClay High School.   In his free time, Jim likes to sing Karaoke.

Joe has been at Summer Trails for 18 years.  When not playing baseball at camp, Joe is a Softball and Basketball Ref and has recently won an award in volunteering for the Yorktown Recreation Leagues.

Ryan is back for his 11th season at Summer Trails (8 as a camper, 3 as a coach).
